Variety is key to a healthy diet. The feeders below are great options for a varied rotation of insects for omnivores and insectivores alike. Always feed appropriately sized prey items.
Banded Crickets (Gryllodes sigillatus). Great for stimulating natural hunting behaviors.

Blaptica dubia. One of the most nutritious feeder insects.

Tenebrio molitor
Tenebrio molitor. Giant mealworms are treated with a growth regulator to keep them from pupating.
Zophobas morio
Some feeders are best served as an occasional treat. These insects can add variety and enrichment to your animal's diet, but shouldn't make up the majority of their insect rotation.
Manduca sexta
Chilecomadia moorei. Butterworms are irradiated before import to prevent them from developing into adult moths. This does not make them radioactive and does not make them unsafe to feed. They remain a safe feeder insect for reptiles and other insectivores.
Galleria mellonella
These smaller feeders are great options for juveniles, small species, and other tiny insectivores. Black soldier fly larvae are also naturally high in calcium, making them a nutritious addition to a varied diet.
