Food that is cuter than it should be...

We first started keeping fancy rats to generate a consistent supply of feeders for our new collection of Ball Pythons, but we quickly found that the rats were a lot of fun. We now regularly produce rats both as feeders and pets. 

Taking the best care of all the animals we work with is very important to us, even if that animal is intended as food for another. We keep all of our Fancy Rats in large two level animal cages, never alone and always with some kind of enrichment. Their diet is primarily high quality lab blocks but is also supplemented with fresh fruit, seeds and dry insects.
